Albums of 5 or more images (3 or more images for cosplay) will be exempt from this rule so long as the images are relevant to the point or idea being illustrated. Full song link posts are considered low-effort unless officially uploaded and newly released. All fanart posts must be text posts and flaired with the Fanart tag. Non OC fanart must contain 3 or more directly related images as per our, read them carefully. If you are posting fanart drawn by yourself, please flair the post using the OC tag. You may also submit it as a link post.
You can only submit one fanart post per week. All Watch This! Posts must be text only, over 1500 characters, and include WT! in the subject. Clip submissions must contain the name of the show in the title and be flaired with a Clip tag.
Clips from currently airing shows cannot be posted within 24 hours after the Episode Discussion thread is posted. There is a limit of 4 clips per user per week.

The spoiler title must include the name of the show, and if relevant the episode number. Do not post spoilers in the submission title.
Links to external articles/images with spoilers should have SPOILERS in the title of the submission as well as the name of the show. Spoilers can sometimes prove difficult to interpret. If possible, tell us how the comment/thread is a spoiler.

It is popular in some other western countries (where it aired on a main TV channel), maybe not as much as other shows but I would say it's it in the top 5 of 'anime everyone knows because it used to air on TV when they were kids'. Same with Doraemon, I would say it's one of the most popular anime characters outside Japan (it was even ) except in the U.S.

And some other countries where it didn't air on TV, although the popularity has declined a bit lately. I guess it's not nearly as well known in English speaking countries like U.S. Because it didn't air in the main TV channels or it wasn't marketed strongly enough. The series is built on repeating the same pattern, and it doesn't work unless you're really into it. That's the main problem imo. In my country the dub for Meitantei Conan (and the opening used) is good enough, I liked the premise and watching it, it definitely felt cool, but Conan finding out clues was what drove the show for me.

Knowing he was getting closer and closer, so when you learn there are 800 episodes you realize the show isn't about the end, it's about repeating affairs over and over again. If a game or a show doesn't progress in any way, nobody (edit: who's there for the plot) is going to stick with it unless it becomes omnipresent during those episodes, which I doubt. It wasn't obscure or anything, but nobody where I live is ever going to watch the 800 episodes.
